TUCSON, Ariz. - The Arizona Men's Tennis team was defeated by Arizona State Saturday afternoon, 4-2.
The Cats started off strong in Doubles with a dominant win on court two from
Filip Malbasic and
Alejandro Reguant. Arizona State then struck back by taking the match on court three and then clinching the Doubles point on court one that went to a tiebreaker, 7-6(8).
Arizona managed to grab a lead once they won on courts five and six in a quick two sets for both matches as
Carlos Hassey and
Jonas Maier grabbed a couple quick wins for the Wildcats, but the Sun Devils would go on to win the next three, clinching the match.
The Wildcats will look to get back on track next Friday against Washington at home at 2:00 p.m. MST.
