TUCSON, Ariz. – Five Wildcats – Reyna Carranco, Jessie Harper, Taylor McQuillin, Dejah Mulipola and Alyssa Palomino-Cardoza – were named first-team all-Pac-12, highlighting UA's inclusion in the Pac-12 postseason softball awards. In all, seven Wildcats were honored, with Malia Martinez receiving second-team recognition and Alyssa Denham being named to the third team. Carranco, Harper, Mulipola and Palomino-Cardoza were named to the all-defensive team as well.

UCLA's Rachel Garcia was named Pac-12 Player and Pitcher of the Year, Stanford's Jessica Allister was named Pac-12 Coach of the Year, Washington's Sis Bates was named Pac-12 Defensive Player of the Year and UCLA's Megan Faraimo was named Pac-12 Freshman of the Year. The Pac-12 Batting Champion will be announced following this weekend's games; Carranco currently leads the Pac-12 in batting average (.433), but UCLA's Kelly Godin may reach the required number of plate appearances this weekend to qualify and currently has a .441 batting average.
   

• Third straight all-conference selection but first ever first-team honor after receiving third-team all-Pac-12 each of her first two seasons
• First career selection to the Pac-12 all-defensive team
• Leads the Pac-12 with a .433 batting average, trying to become the first Wildcat to win the Pac-12 batting title since 2009 (Brittany Lastrapes - .481)
• Is hitting .448 in conference play, third highest league average in the conference
• Has multiple hits half of the games she has appeared in this season (25 of 50), including a team-most five three-hit games this year

   

• Third straight first-team all-conference selection
• First ever Pac-12 all-defensive team
• One of 26 finalists for USA Softball Player of the Year
• Leads the Pac-12 in both home runs (23) and RBI (61) and is second in runs scored (56); trying to become the fourth player in Pac-12 history to lead the conference in all three stats
• Second in the nation with 23 home runs, trying to become the first Pac-12 player to lead the nation in home runs since Stacie Chambers in 2009
• Leads the Pac-12 and is 15th nationally, in slugging percentage (.845), which would rank 10th in a season in Arizona history

• Has four multi-homer games in 2019

   

• Fourth-straight all-Pac-12 selection and second consecutive first-team honor after being named to the third team in 2016 and second team in 2017
• Becomes the first four-time all-conference Wildcat pitcher since Alicia Hollowell (203-06)
• Finalist for USA Softball Player of the Year
• Leads the Pac-12 and is sixth nationally with 10 shutouts
• Fourth in the conference with a 1.53 ERA
• Third in the league with 19 wins and is fourth in strikeouts (186)
• Has four shutouts vs. ranked teams this year, including a pair vs. Arizona State
• Two-time Pac-12 Pitcher of the Week and week 8 NFCA National Pitcher of the Week

   

• Second straight all-conference selection after being named to the second team in 2018
• Second consecutive Pac-12 all-defensive team selection
• One of 26 finalists for USA Softball Player of the Year
• Top-10 in the Pac-12 in slugging percentage (3rd - .809) and on-base percentage (7th - .472)
• Second in the conference and seventh in the country with a career-most 20 home runs
• Leads the league in walks (37)
• In Pac-12 play, is second in the Pac-12 in both home runs (9) and slugging percentage (.849)
• Has thrown out 50% of potential base stealers (7-of-14) behind the plate and has committed one error in 361 defensive chances

   

• Third straight all-Pac-12 selection and second consecutive year on the first team (second team in 2017)
• First ever selection to the Pac-12 all-defensive team
• Leads the Pac-12 with 34 extra-base hits
• Her 18 doubles lead the Pac-12 and are seventh most in a season in UA history
• Has a .480 on-base percentage as UA's leadoff hitter, helped out by 30 walks, third most in the Pac-12
• Is top-10 in the Pac-12 in both slugging percentage (5th - .778) and on-base percentage (3rd - .480)

   

• First career all-conference selection
• Leads the Pac-12 in RBI in conference games (29)
• Has a career-high 12 home runs and 51 RBI this season, making her one of five players in the Pac-12 with double-digit homers and 50-plus RBI this season

   

• Second straight third-team all-Pac-12 selection and third consecutive all-conference honor after she was a first-team all-Sun Belt pitcher at Louisiana Lafayette as a freshman
• During Pac-12 play, has a 1.07 ERA (second in the Pac-12) and has held opponents to a .146 batting average (first in the Pac-12)
• Has allowed just 19 hits over 39.1 innings during Pac-12 play, the fewest in the conference
• Overall this season, is fourth in the Pac-12 in opposing batters' average (.172) and sixth in ERA (1.80)
• Threw a no-hitter at Oregon State (3/24) and was named Pac-12 Pitcher of the Week
