TUCSON, Ariz. – Tayler Biehl, Kiki Escobar, and Grace Jenkins earned CSC Academic All-District honors, the association announced on Tuesday. The trio of Wildcats are now eligible to be named Academic All-America.
 
Biehl, who graduated with a degree in nutritional sciences, is receiving her third straight Academic All-District honor after finishing her career with a 4.00 GPA. The senior shortstop was named the 2026 Big 12 Scholar-Athlete of the Year and finished the season with 116 assists which led Arizona and ranked sixth in the Big 12. Biehl ended her career with 393 assists which ranks ninth in Arizona softball history. Offensively, she had a breakout season with a .352 batting average, 58 hits, 11 doubles, six home runs, and 46 RBI.
 
Escobar, who earned a degree in interdisciplinary studies with a focus on economy and industry, maintained a 3.917 GPA and is earning Academic All-District honors for the first time. Escobar appeared in 50 games for Arizona in 2026 and had a .308 batting average with 12 hits. She scored 21 runs and made 69 putouts during the season.
 
Jenkins, who graduated with a degree in political science, had a 3.822 GPA to receive her first Academic All-District selection. She earned All-Big 12 first team honors and recorded a .336 batting average with 58 hits, 14 home runs, and 65 RBI with a .705 slugging percentage during her senior season. She also recorded seven doubles and two triples in her lone season at Arizona.
 
Academic All-District® honorees were considered for advancement to the CSC Academic All-America® ballot. Student-athletes selected as CSC Academic All-America® finalists are denoted with an asterisk and will advance to the national ballot to be voted on by CSC members. First-, second- and third-team Academic All-America® honorees will be announced June 16, 2026.
