TUCSON, Ariz. -- Arizona rising junior
Delaney Schnell will represent USA Diving at both the World Championships and Pan American Games this summer after qualifying  at the USA Diving Senior National Championships.
Schnell finished second in the women's 10-meter at the USA Diving Senior National Championships last week in Indianapolis, to officially punch her ticket to the two events. Schnell led the event after two rounds, but would finish runner-up, still good enough to qualify for USA Diving.Â
The Tucson native will now represent Team USA in both the Pan American Games (July 26-August 11) in Lima, Peru and the World Championships (July 12-28) in Gwangju, South Korea.
Schnell was an All-American in all three diving events this season, including a fourth-place finish in the platform at the NCAA Championship, and was top-five at Pac-12 Championships in all three events, including a runner-up performance in the 1-meter. She set the school record in the platform with a score of 361.15 on March 13, 2019 at the USA Diving Zone Championships.
