TUCSON, Ariz. – After a preseason full of hard work and team building, Arizona Gymnastics is prepared to take on the 2020 season starting this Friday, Jan. 3 at 6:30 p.m. MST at LSU.

"We are looking forward to starting 2020 at LSU, they host a first-class event," head coach
John Court said. "Pre-season has gone well and it's time to get out there and show our gymnastics. We will use a solid group of veteran routines and will mix in new ones as well."
Arizona welcomes back 12 returning gymnasts, including sophomores
Kennedi Davis,
Asia Rose DuVernay, and
MacKinzie Kane, juniors
Payton Bellows,
Sydney Freidin, and
Laura Leigh Horton, and seniors
Christina Berg,
Courtney Cowles,
Jenny Leung,
Maddi Leydin,
Heather Swanson, and
Haylie Hendrickson.
The GymCats will welcome seven freshmen:
Mackenzie Barile from Scottsdale, Arizona,
Zaza Brovedani from Oakland, California,
Malia Hargrove from Sparks, Nevada,
Sirena Linton fron Phoenix, Arizona,
Danielle Nosek from Greenfield, Indiana,
Libby Orman from Mound, Minnesota, and
Avery Stauffacher from Scottsdale, Arizona.
This year the Cats will host six home meets during the season and will face Pac-12 rivals Oregon State, Utah, UCLA, Washington, Stanford, California, and Arizona State. The GymCats will also face LSU, Western Michigan, Iowa State, Rutgers, Sacramento State, Ohio State, Bridgeport, and Boise State this on the road.
