Cats Wrap Up Day 1 of Tri-Meet

TUCSON, Ariz. -- Arizona swimming and diving wrapped up day 1 of its swim meet with NAU and Northwestern on Thursday at Hillenbrand Aquatic Center. After 18 events, the men lead Northwestern 89-78 in a tight race while the women are splitting with their two foes, leading NAU 106-58 but trailing Northwestern 125-39.
Brooks Fail led the Wildcats with two wins in the two events he swam, winning the 1650 free and the 200 fly. Noah Reid and Etay Gurevich also posted victories for the Cats.
The event will conclude on Friday at 2 p.m. MST at Hillenbrand Aquatic Center.
