FEDERAL WAY, Wash. -- Day 3 of the Pac-12 Women's Swimming and Men's and Women's Diving Championships wrapped up on Friday in Federal Way, Wash.
Top Performances
Bjorn Markentin lead the way for the Wildcats Friday afternoon. The freshman diver was crowned the Pac-12 champion for the platform dive with a score of 384.70, a lifetime best.
Senior Diver Casey Ponton also set a lifetime best in the platform dive with a score of 330.25.
Aria Bernal took home third place honors in the 100 back finals with a time of 52.00, a lifetime best and the sixth-fastest time in program history.
In the first championship event of the night,
Axana Merckx won the 400 IM consolation final while
Hannah Cox placed runner-up.
