TUCSON, Ariz. – The seventh installment of our #ThrowbackThursday series takes a look at the 1993-94 team that went 14-4 in Pac-10 play and advanced all the way to the Final Four of the NCAA Tournament before losing to eventual national champion Arkansas.
Â
Arizona began the season winning its first eight games before a one point loss to Kentucky at the Maui Invitational ended the winning streak. The Wildcats claimed regular season non-conference wins against the likes of Oklahoma State, Utah, Notre Dame, Boston College, Michigan and Marquette.
Â
In the NCAA Tournament, Arizona opened with a win over Loyola (Md.) and Virginia the first weekend and followed that with triumphs over Louisville and Missouri in the regional round.
Â
Below is a look at the roster, season results and more from that team.
