TUCSON, Ariz. -- Head Coach
Becca Moros and the Arizona Soccer team are excited to welcome six new Wildcats to the program. These six new prospects -- Maia Brown, Angela Baron, Trinity Dorsey, Ella Hatteberg, MacKenzie Moring, and Cameron Valladares -- committed to continuing their soccer careers as the newest members of the Arizona Soccer team on Wednesday, November 11.

They're competitive in the classroom and on the field, and they embody the passion, commitment to excellence, strong sense of character and team first mentality that is the foundation of everything we do. Below are detailed bios on Arizona's six newest Wildcats:

Maia Brown | 5-7; Defender; Carrollton, Texas (Prestonwood Christian Academy)
- Played six years in both U.S. Development Academy and the Elite Club National League (ECNL)
- 2018-19 ECNL Dallas Texans Team Capitan
- Played for Dallas Texans SC
- 2021 Dallas Cup Finalist
- Letter winner in both Soccer and Track (100m, 200m, 4x100m)
- State regional qualifier in the 100m and 200m
- Chose Arizona because, "the campus is beautiful, the coaches are top notch, and the athletic and academic opportunities are endless.
Coach Moros says, "Maia is a top central defender, an outstanding student, and a terrific person. We're excited to welcome her to the team and can't wait to see the impact she has on the program. She's competitive in everything she does, and we admire that about her. Her athleticism and work ethic are second to none."

Angela Baron | 5-7; Defender; Keller, Texas (Keller High School)
- Called up to Full National Team camp for the Colombian National team and U17 National Team camp
- Lettered in soccer all four years of high school
- Team Most Valuable Player ('20)
- Three-time 5-6A All-District honoree; 2018 All-District Honorable Mention, 2019 All-District Second Team and 2020 All-District First Team
- Played with D'feeters Kicks Soccer Club
- 2020-21 U17/18 ECNL All-Conference First Team
- Chose Arizona because, "I loved the coaching staff and the atmosphere at Arizona. It felt like the perfect fit for me."
Coach Moros says, "Angela is a technical and composed central defender with international experience playing for Columbia. She's a classy player and has the qualities we're looking for to help us play the kind of football we want to play."

Trinity Dorsey | 5-6; Midfielder; Elkridge, Md. (Our Lady of Good Counsel High School)
- Lettered in soccer all four years of high school
- High school team Capitan two years in a row ('20, '21)
- Named 2019 WCAC All-Conference Second Team and 2021 WCAC All-Conference First Team
- Named 2021 Maryland Association of Coaches of Soccer (MACS) First Team
- Two-time WCAC Conference Champions ('18, '19); 2021 WCAC Conference Championship runner-up
- Played with Bethesda Soccer Club 2004 Girls ENCL 1
- Chose Arizona because, "I love the coaching staff, team, public health school, power-5 conference, beautiful campus and city."
Coach Moros says, "Trinity is a smart and capable central midfielder. In addition to her play making ability, she's disciplined and reliable, the kind of player who makes other players better."

Ella Hatteberg | 5-5; Defender; Gig Harbor, Wash. (Gig Harbor High School)
- Lettered in soccer all four years of high school
- High school team Captain ('21) and team MVP ('20)
- Three-time South Sound All-Conference First Team honoree ('19, '20, '21)
- Three-time 3A All-District First Team honoree ('19, '20, '21)
- 2018-19 South Sound Conference Champions
- Participated in three ODP West Region Camps ('16, '18, '19) as well as ODP West Region Pool Team ('19-'20)
- Played with Pacific Northwest Soccer Club (PACNW)
- Chose Arizona because, "I absolutely loved campus, the team and the coaching staff. It immediately felt like home when I was walking around the university. It's a school rich in tradition of both sports and academics. I can't wait to yell "bear down!"
Coach Moros says, "Ella is both a capable defender and midfielder. She knows how to put in the work and get it done. She's the kind of player you want on your team in the big games."

MacKenzie Moring | 5-11; Forward; Atlanta, Ga (Woodward Academy)
- Played with Southern Soccer Academy
- Lettered all four years of high school in both basketball and track and field
- Named All-Region Second Team in basketball ('20)
- Holds the school record in track and field for the 4x4, 4x8 and distance medley relay
- Won the state championship with both basketball and track
- Holds state records in the 4x4, 4x8 and 400m
- Chose Arizona because, "I love the location and welcoming atmosphere. From the moment I stepped on campus I felt welcomed by students, coaches, and players. The weather is also way better than Atlanta's and the sunsets are beautiful. So excited to come in July!"
Coach Moros says, "MacKenzie is a soccer head, loves the game, loves to train and holds herself to a high standard. When put in an environment like the one we have here, with the high level players we have on this team, we're confident she's going to take her game to another level."

Cameron Valladares | 5-7; Forward; Woodland Hills, Calif. (Westlake High School)
- Lettered in high school soccer
- Named CIF All-Conference First Team ('20)
- Played for the Inaugrual LA Galaxy Girls DA Team
- Played with Real So Cal/LAFC So Cal
- Far West Regional Championship Finalist
- Man City Cup Championship Finalist
- Chose Arizona because, "I like all the different opportunities for study as well as the different programs, sports teams, and ways to be involved. It fit what I wanted in that it is a large school with many top-level programs, but Tucson is still a smaller city that feels more personal. Being a Pac-12 school for my sport was also a plus."
Coach Moros says, "Cameron is a fast and crafty goal scorer. She's confident, ambitious and ready to put in the work. We're excited to see what she can do at the next level and in our playing style."
