Eugene, Ore.-- In a match that was scoreless for nearly the full 90 minutes, the Arizona Wildcats (5-3-0, 1-3-0) ended up being falling to the Oregon Ducks (3-3-2, 2-2-1) with a final score of 1-0.
In what looked like a match that would require at least one OT period, the Ducks were able to break through and score late in the match. In the 85 scoreless minutes, Arizona was able to take nine shots (over 60% taken in the match) with two on goal and take three corners. Keeper Hope Hisey stopped three shots on goal. The main shot takers of the match were Jordan Hall, Madison Goerlinger, and Ava Hetzel, who scored her first career goal against Oregon State. All three had two shots with Iliana Hocking, Iyana Zimmerman and Hannah Clifford coming up behind them with one each.Â
