Washington State scored 15 runs over the first three innings and never looked back, taking an early edge in the three-game series.
The Wildcats offense picked up six hits and seven walks but only pushed across two runs. An RBI groundout from Kaden Hopson and an RBI single from Tanner O'Tremba, both in the sixth inning, accounted for all of Arizona's scoring.
