Wildcats Host Sun Devils at Hi Corbett

TUCSON, Ariz. — The Arizona Wildcats (18-8, 5-4) are set to host a midweek non-conference matchup against the in-state rival Arizona State Sun Devils (16-7, 5-4) this Tuesday at Hi Corbett Field. The game will be available to watch via live stream on ArizonaWildcats.com, while a radio broadcast can be found on Wildcats Radio 1290 AM.

Tuesday's game follows a three-game series between the two rivals in Phoenix last weekend, one the Wildcats won 2-1 on final scores of 10-5, 7-6, and 2-3. Arizona was bolstered over the weekend by a dominant bullpen effort and timely hitting to earn their second consecutive Pac-12 Conference series victory.

  • Arizona plays host to Arizona State for a midweek non-conference contest this Tuesday at Hi Corbett Field. The rivals recently completed a three-game series in Phoenix last Thursday-Saturday that the Wildcats won 2-1.
  • Arizona leads the all-time series with Arizona State 255-223-1, with games dating back to 1907. Under head coach Jay Johnson the Wildcats have won the season-series against ASU twice, in 2018 (3-1) and 2017 (4-1).
  • Arizona has scored at least one run in 135 straight games. They have not suffered a shutout loss since falling 1-0 at Washington on March 17, 2018. Their 135-game scoring streak is the longest active scoring streak in the Pac-12.
