The Wildcats finished the 2021 Pac-12 slate with a record of 21-9, marking their second-highest conference win total in program history. Arizona won 8-of-10 league series en route to their championship, including a 2-1 series victory over then No. 16 Oregon, a 3-1 season series rout of in-state rival Arizona State, series sweeps over USC and Utah, and a 2-1 road series win over Oregon State.

Arizona clinched a share of the conference title and the Pac-12's automatic bid to the NCAA Tournament last weekend with a Sunday victory over Oregon State and a Stanford win at Oregon. The Wildcats will make their 40th NCAA Tournament appearance next week — the annual selection show event will be televised on ESPN2 at 9:00 a.m. MST on Monday, May 31.
Following their 21-9 performance in Pac-12 play, the Wildcats now boast a record of 82-67 (.550) with sixth-year head coach
Jay Johnson. Under the direction of coach Johnson, Arizona now boasts four winning conference campaigns — prior to his arrival in 2016, Arizona had finished above .500 in conference play three times in 10 years.
