Box Score AUSTIN, Texas – Arizona fell 3-2 in five sets to the Notre Dame Irish. The Wildcats outhit the Irish in two sets, but Notre Dame came out on top to win. Jaelyn Hodge, Sofia Maldonado Diaz, and Merle Weidt each had double-digit in the match.
 
Set 1 | Arizona - 25, Notre Dame - 22
Arizona came out strong to take the first set 25-22. Sofia Maldonado Diaz led the attack with six kills, hitting .667. Zyonna Fellows followed with three kills and a block solo. Maldonado Diaz, Emery Herman, and Puk Stubbe all served up aces to help the Wildcats win Set 1.
 
Set 2 | Arizona - 16, Notre Dame - 25
Notre Dame tied the match at 1-1 in the second set. Hodge led Arizona with three kills and an ace. Fellows had two kills and a block assist.
 
Set 3 | Arizona - 14, Notre Dame - 25
The Irish took Set 3, 25-14. Hodge had four kills in the third set and combined with Fellows on two block assists. Stubbe had three kills for the Cats.
 
Set 4 | Arizona - 25, Notre Dame - 12
Arizona's offense came to life in the fourth set, dominating the set with 15 kills. The Wildcats' defense held Notre Dame to six kills and a .000 hitting percentage. Kamaile Hiapo served three aces in a row to help the Wildcats secure the fourth set. Maldonado Diaz led Arizona with four kills, followed by Hodge and Weidt with three kills each.
 
Set 5 | Arizona - 10, Notre Dame - 15
Notre Dame took the fifth set 15-10 to win the match. Hodge extended her double-digit kill streak to eight matches and Maldonado Diaz had five straight matches in double-digits.
