I want to open this week's Wildcat Wednesday email by wishing everyone a Happy Thanksgiving. I hope you all get to spend time with family and loved ones this holiday season. We have so much to give thanks for, and I am extremely thankful to serve this outstanding athletics department and flagship university. The Wildcat Way is a very powerful mission to who we are as an athletics department, and it is a privilege to spend each and every day helping our student-athletes become academic, athletic and life champions. Our tremendous alumni, fans and donors have made Arizona Athletics a first-class organization for decades, and your outpouring of support continues to make our athletics department one of the best in the nation. I would like to thank you all for everything you do for Arizona Athletics, the University of Arizona and Southern Arizona. Thank you to the Wildcat Family for always representing the Block A and showing the world what it means to Bear Down.
TERRITORIAL CUP
The 96th edition of the Territorial Cup is set for a 1 p.m. (MST) kickoff on FS1 on Friday, Nov. 25 inside Arizona Stadium. Our annual meeting with the school up north is the nation's oldest rivalry trophy game, going back to 1899. With our last hosting of the rivalry game taking place during the COVID-19-impacted season of 2020 without fans, Friday's game will be the first T-Cup match-up for the Wildcat Family to attend at Arizona Stadium since 2018. I know the Wildcat Family is ready to fill the stands with the colors and Bear Down with Coach Fisch and the Wildcats.
Friday will be a Red Out inside our venue, so pick out your favorite red Arizona gear and let's make Arizona Stadium the place to be on Friday afternoon. We are also offering a Buy One, Get One Free ticket promotion for the few remaining tickets we have for the game. The Wildcat Family has turned out in strength this season to support our football program, and I look forward to another strong showing at Arizona Stadium. Bear Down and Go Cats!
