Los Angeles - No. 24 Arizona defeated No. 14 USC 4-3 making it the first win for the Wildcats on Trojan turf. This victory makes it the second regular-season win for Arizona against USC since 2000. 

The doubles matches were neck and neck. Almost every point was back and forth in the match between Jonas Ziverts and Herman Hoeyeraal against No. 14 doubles pair Stefan Dostanic and Bradley Frye, and it was the same in Jared Horwood and Colton Smith's match against Ryan Colby and Ryder Jackson. 

Both of these matches went to tiebreakers that saw Ziverts and Hoeyeraal fall 6-7, and Horwood and Smith left their unfinished match 6-6. 

Hassey and Strom finished first on court two after coming back from being down 5-1 before ultimately losing 6-4. 

Despite losing the doubles point, Arizona played an impressive round of singles play that won them the match against USC. No. 80 Ziverts put the Cats on the board after defeating No. 30 Peter Makk in two straight sets 6-4, 6-1. And No. 74 Hoeyeraal put the Cats one point ahead after his 6-3, 2-6, 6-1 win over Jackson. 

USC tied the match after Colby defeated Hassey 7-6(6), 6-2. No. 36 Smith took the third singles point for Arizona after his 6-4, 6-7(2), 6-3 win against No. 116 Frye. The match was tied 3-3 after Strom fell 6-4, 6-7(5), 4-6 to No. 7 Dostanic. 

Nick Lagaev clinched the match with his 6-7(6), 6-2, 7-5 win against No. 70 Lodewijk Weststrate. Lagaev is now on a six singles game winning streak. 

The Wildcats are back home on Saturday for a rivalry match against No. 55 Arizona State, and then they host two more Pac-12 teams, No. 9 Stanford on Friday, April 1, and No. 32 California on Sunday, April 3.
