TUCSON, Ariz. — A back-and-forth battle between the Arizona Wildcats (33-18, 14-11) and Oregon State Beavers (40-9, 19-6) went the way of the visitors on a final score of 12-9 on Friday night.
The Wildcats and Beavers were even at five through seven innings before a seven-run OSU rally broke up the tie. Arizona rallied for four runs over the final two frames but could not make up the deficit.

Tanner O'Tremba both hit tape-measure leadoff home runs in the eighth and ninth innings, respectively.
