Cats Rally Falls Short in 12-9 Loss to Beavers

The Wildcats and Beavers were even at five through seven innings before a seven-run OSU rally broke up the tie. Arizona rallied for four runs over the final two frames but could not make up the deficit.
Starting pitcher TJ Nichols did not factor into the decision after working five innings and striking out four.
Noah Turley and Tanner O'Tremba both hit tape-measure leadoff home runs in the eighth and ninth innings, respectively.
