TUCSON, Ariz. – Arizona placed six on the NFCA All-West teams announced on Thursday by the association. Allie Skaggs and Izzy Pacho earned first-team All-West honors. Sharlize Palacios and Carlie Scupin were named second-team All-Region. Jasmine Perezchica and Paige Dimler were third-team All-West selections.
 
The six Wildcats are now eligible for the 2021 NFCA Division I All-America teams, which will be announced on Wednesday, June 1.

Allie Skaggs is earning her first all-region nod. The first-team All-West selection earned second-team All-Pac-12 last week. Skaggs is tied for first in the Pac-12 and fifth in the NCAA with 22 home runs. She leads Arizona in home runs, RBI (56), and slugging percentage (.825).
 
Izzy Pacho was named all-region for the first time in her career. She is batting .383, which ranks second on the team, with nine home runs and 12 doubles.
 
Sharlize Palacios is receiving her second-ever all-region nod. Last week, Palacios was named first-team All-Pac-12 and Pac-12 All-Defensive. She is tied for fourth in the Pac-12 with 17 home runs and is third with 56 RBI.
 
Carlie Scupin was named All-West for the second-straight season. Scupin is tied for fourth in the conference with 17 home runs and is ranked fifth with a .774 slugging percentage and sixth with 51 RBI.
 
Jasmine Perezchica is earning her first-ever All-West selection. Last week, Perezchica was named third-team All-Pac-12 for the first time in her career. She leads Arizona with a .393 batting average and 10 stolen bases.
 
Paige Dimler is named third-team all-region for the first time in her career. Dimler was named to the Pac-12 All-Freshman team last week. She is third among Pac-12 freshman with 10 home runs and has 25 RBI this season.
