Volleyball Red-Blue Scrimmage Set for Saturday

TUCSON, Ariz. – Arizona Volleyball will host its annual Red-Blue scrimmage on Saturday, August 20. The match is set to begin at 2 p.m. MST in McKale Center.
This is the first chance for fans to see the 2022 team before Arizona opens the season at home with the Cactus Classic on Aug. 26-27. The Cats will host LIU, New Mexico State, and Alabama State in the Cactus Classic.
Arizona is returning 14 players from the 2021 roster, including five starters plus the libero. The returners include sophomores Nicole Briggs, Madison Ellman, Alayna Johnson, Puk Stubbe, Ava Tortorello, and Haven Wray, juniors Jaleesa Caroccio, Joy Galles, Emery Herman, Jaelyn Hodge, and Sofia Maldonado Diaz, seniors Dilara Gedikoglu and Kamaile Hiapo, and fifth-year Zyonna Fellows.
The Wildcats welcome three newcomers to the team this season: freshmen Ana Heath, Kaori Robertson, and Lauren Rumel.
Admission to the Red-Blue scrimmage is included for season ticket holders and is $5 for non-season ticket holders.
