TUCSON, Ariz. – With every semester and every national report, Arizona Athletics continues to break records in the classroom in a trend that goes back over a decade. The NCAA's Graduate Success Rate (GSR) data, announced on Wednesday, is the most recent example of these historical achievements. Arizona posted a GSR score of 89 percent in the most recent data released on Wednesday, which topped the department's previous record of 87 percent reported by the NCAA in 2020 and 2022.

The 2023 GSR report reflects the student-athlete graduation success of a four-year cohort of student-athletes who attended the University of Arizona from 2013 to 2016.
The athletic department's new record of 89 percent comes on the heels of a meteoric rise that has seen Arizona's GSR scores increased by 22 percent since 2011. Arizona has also tied or broken its all-time high six times in the last seven years. Six of Arizona's programs scored 100 percent in this year's report that include Women's Basketball, Women's Golf, Gymnastics, Women's Tennis, Men's Track and Field as well as Beach Volleyball.
The historical GSR scores posted by Arizona Athletics is part of its championship academic success as the department has also regularly broken its own records in APR scores and department semesters over the last decade.
