Notes following Arizona's 61-42 win over Colorado:
-The Wildcats held Colorado to just 20 first-half points, marking the second time in four games that Arizona has limited an opponent to 20 in the first half.
-Arizona held the Buffs to just 28.3% from the field for their worst shooting performance of the season. The Cats additionally held Colorado to only 8.3% from three, also a season low.
-With the wins over No. 4 Utah and No. 21 Colorado, the Wildcats defeated back-to-back ranked opponents for the first time since defeating #10 Oregon on Jan. 14, 2021 and #11 Oregon on Feb 8, 2021.
-The Cats kept the Buffs to 42 points for Colorado's lowest point total of the season
-Arizona forced 20 turnovers, marking the 12th time this season that an opponent has turned the ball over 20+ times.
-The Wildcats have not lost a game shooting 40.0% or better from the field.
-Shaina Pellington hit 1,500 career points with a bucket in the second quarter. She is the second active Wildcat to cross that threshold.
-Esmery Martinez posted 14 points of 6-of-9 shooting to go with seven rebounds and a steal.
-Shaina Pellington stuffed the stat sheet again, pouring in 19 points on 8-of-13 shooting to go with three rebounds, five assists, two blocks and one steal.
-Paris Clark was effective across the board with three points, four rebounds, one assist and a steal.
-Cate Reese tallied seven points, six rebounds, one assist, one steal and one block.
-Maya Nnaji dropped in six points in addition to making one block and grabbing a rebound.
-Helena Pueyo continued to disrupt defensively, making two steals and grabbing five rebounds. The senior added five points and an assist to her stat line.
