TUCSON, Ariz. – On Thursday, the Pac-12 Conference announced their Fall Academic Honor Roll, which included 15 cross country student-athletes.
The accolades were reserved for student-athletes who competed in a fall sport and had a cumulative grade-point average of a 3.3 or higher. This included eight female Wildcats:
Erika Cunniam,
Grace Driskill,
Brigid Hanley,
Peyton Heiden,
Tenley Hughes,
Meggie Karp,
Alisa Lyesina, and
Johnnie Mitchell. There were seven male Wildcats as well:
Brandon Bounds,
Parker Lehmann,
Cade Russo,
Ian Sanchez Lopez,
Iker Sanchez Lopez,
Ayden Schilb, and
Jeffrey Sillers.
In addition to the Fall Honor Roll, the teams also posted very strong overall GPA numbers. The women's team had a fall semester average of 3.629, and the men's team had an average of 3.507. Both of these ranked in the top three for Arizona Athletics' teams, and the entire athletics program produced the highest overall fall semester average GPA on record.
