TUCSON, Ariz. — The Arizona Wildcats (13-6) collected 11 runs on 14 hits en route to an 11-2 midweek drubbing of Utah Tech (7-15) on Tuesday night at Hi Corbett Field.
Infielders
Kiko Romero and
Nik McClaughry, the top two in Arizona's lineup, collected five hits, six runs, and two RBI in the offensive outburst.
Starting pitcher Anthony Susac did not factor into the decision after working three scoreless innings. He allowed just three hits and issued zero walks while striking out three.
The Wildcats used six relievers to cover the final six frames, a group who combined to strike out nine Trailblazers while allowing just two hits.
