TUCSON, Ariz. — The Arizona Wildcats (14-10, 3-7) dropped their series opener to the Oregon Ducks (16-7, 4-3) on a final score of 15-3 on Friday night at Hi Corbett Field.

Cameron LaLiberte tallied a pair of hits to lead the Arizona offense, while shortstop
Nik McClaughry and second baseman
Garen Caulfield both drove in runs.
Freshman pitcher
Casey Hintz worked the final inning of the game and posted a scoreless frame while striking out one.
Arizona looks to even the series with Oregon on Saturday night.
