COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. - Arizona freshman Breya Cunningham has been added to the USA Women's U19 National Team, as announced by USA Basketball on Thursday.

Cunningham has represented the US on several occasions, including winning gold medals with the U17 team at the FIBA U17 Women's World Cup and with the U16 team at the FIBA U16 Americas Championship. 

She is one of 12 members of the U19 team. The roster includes athletes who enrolled early or were college freshmen in 2022-23 and members of the high school graduating classes of 2023 and 2024. Athletes must be citizens of the United States born on or after Jan. 1, 2004.

Cunningham will travel to Colorado Springs, Colo., for training camp July 2 and play in the 2023 FIBA U19 Women's World Cup in Madrid, Spain. The U19 Women's World Cup will run July 15-23, and the United States is in Group B with Mali, Germany and Chinese Taipei.
