NIS, Serbia – The 2023 FIBA U18 European Championship gets underway on Saturday, July 22, and Arizona men's basketball incoming freshman Conrad Martinez will be competing for his home country of Spain. The Spaniards are the two-time defending champions of this event. Â

The tournament features 16 teams from across Europe, with Greece, Denmark and Italy joining Spain in Group D.Â

The teams will play one game for three straight days to begin the tournament and then take a day off on July 25 before jumping into the classification stage from July 26-30, with a rest day on July 28.Â
