TUCSON, Ariz. – Kylie Kratchwell has been promoted to assistant coach of Arizona Gymnastics following a successful season as the volunteer assistant coach, head coach
John Court announced on Friday.
"I am very pleased to announce Kylie's promotion to assistant coach," head coach
John Court said. "She has had a positive presence since the day she arrived a year ago, has a great rapport with our student-athletes, and is willing to do what it takes to make us successful."
Kratchwell, who spent the 2023 season as the volunteer assistant coach for the GymCats, helped Arizona finish the season ranked No. 21. "Words cannot express my excitement to be a part of this team for another season and my gratitude for this opportunity," Kratchwell said. "I love being part of the GymCat family. This team continuously amazes me, this staff is united, and I am honored to be able to coach alongside such inspiring people. I would like to thank
John Court and
Taylor Spears for believing in me and giving me this chance. Thank you, Krystal Swindlehurst, Dave Heeke, and the entire Arizona Athletics community, for making this possible and for creating an environment I simply could not leave."
Kratchwell will continue to work with the floor exercise and choreograph floor routines while also assisting with recruiting during the 2024 season.
