TUCSON - The Arizona women's basketball program has released its nonconference schedule for the 2023-24 season, as announced by Head Coach Adia Barnes on Wednesday. Game times will be announced at a later date.
The Wildcats will begin the year with a pair of home exhibitions against West Texas A&M (Oct. 25) and Point Loma (Nov. 1) before traveling to Las Cruces, N.M., for a season-opening matchup at New Mexico State on Nov. 6.
Arizona then returns to Tucson for a three-game home stint, opening with NAU on Nov. 10, LMU on Nov. 12 and San Diego on Nov. 14.
The squad will travel to Paradise Island, Bahamas, to participate in the 2023-24 Battle4Atlantis Nov. 18-20. The Wildcats' first matchup of the tournament will take place Nov. 18 at 11:30 a.m. MST against Memphis. Other teams playing in the Battle4Atlantis include DePaul, Michigan, Middle Tennessee, Ole Miss, South Dakota and Howard.
On Dec. 2 Arizona will play at UNLV before returning to Tucson for a pair of games Dec. 7 (UC-San Diego) and Dec. 13 (Texas).
The Wildcats will play a neutral site game in Phoenix Dec. 20, taking on Gonzaga at the Footprint Center as part of Jerry Colangelo's Hall of Fame Classic.
Arizona's final game of nonconference competition will be a home matchup with Seattle Dec. 31.
