TEMPE, Ariz. - The Wildcats drew with Boise State on Sunday in a 1-1 decision in their final matchup of the Sun Devil Classic. With the draw, Arizona moves to 2-1-2 on the season.
Hope Hisey tallied her 300th career save in the 48th minute, becoming one of four active DI goalkeepers to hit the milestone. She is the only active keeper in the Pac-12 with at least 300 career saves and the third goalkeeper in Arizona history to cross that threshold.
Nicole Dallin scored her fifth goal in five competitions, receiving Cameron Valladares' pass at the top of the box and weaving between a pair of Boise State defenders. She drew Broncos keeper Genevieve Crenshaw out of the net and sent it past her to even the score.
With that goal, Dallin brought her career total to 10 and matched her total number of goals scored in the 2022 season. The goal against the Broncos was the 11th of her career.
Boise State took an early 1-0 lead with a goal in the 10th minute. A Broncos free kick was tipped into the Arizona goal off the foot of Megan Chelf.
Six Wildcats totaled 12 shots in the match, Dallin leading the way with four. Gianna Christiansen, Valladares and Dallin each posted a shot on goal.
Arizona returns to action Thursday, Sept. 7 at 7:00 p.m. MST as it hosts Texas Tech as part of the Arizona Classic.
