PULLMAN, Wash. - Kailyn Gilbert dropped her fourth double-double of the season and Esmery Martinez and Jada Williams each scored in double digits, but Washington State came away with a 78-57 victory in Pullman on Sunday.

Gilbert scored 22 points and grabbed 11 rebounds while Martinez had 13 points and Williams scored 10. Martinez nearly had a double-double herself with nine rebounds, and Gilbert's 22 points marked her seventh time scoring 20 or more this year.

The game was tied at five apiece early, but the Wildcats went on a 9-0 run led by six points from Gilbert to go up in the opening minutes. Washington State answered with a 9-0 run of their own and went into the second quarter with a one-point lead.

Martinez was the only Wildcat in double digits prior to halftime, going 4-of-6 for 10 points in the first half. Gilbert joined her in double digits less than two minutes into the third quarter.

Arizona outrebounded Washington State 40-39 for its second consecutive game with more boards than its opponent, and Martinez tied her career high in blocks with three on the day. Breya Cunningham was a force on the glass, hauling in eight rebounds. 

The Wildcats will start a three-game home stretch Friday, Jan. 26 at 7:00 p.m. MST as California visits McKale Center.
