WILMETTE, Ill. -
Charlotte Back carded a final round 75 (+3) to finish the Windy City Collegiate Classic in fourth place, the best individual finish of her career. As a team, Arizona finished tied for eighth place at 35-over par after blustery conditions on Tuesday pushed scores higher. The team shot 35-over par on a tough course that saw the winners shoot 11-over for perspective.
Back finished even par for the tournament after opening with rounds of 66 and 75 on the first day.
Lilas Pinthier finished tied for 29
th at 10-over par.
Both
Carolina Melgrati and
Nena Wongthanavimok shot 13-over par for the tournament and place tied for 43
rd.
Julia Misemer finished tied for 61
st and shot 20-over par for the tournament.
The Wildcats will make the trip to Scotland for the St. Andrews Links Collegiate from Oct. 14-16 and will televised on Golf Channel.
