As the 2024-25 NBA season gets underway on Oct. 22, fans will find a strong Arizona presence across the Association with 12 former Wildcats on opening night rosters or on 2-way deals. That total leads all Big 12 schools and ranks fourth in the country. Only Kentucky (29), Duke (24) and UCLA (14) have more active players in the NBA.Â

Lauri Markkanen - Utah
Bennedict Mathurin - Indiana
T.J. McConnell - Indiana
Zeke Nnaji - Denver
Dalen Terry - Chicago
Brandon Williams - Dallas (2-way)
Additionally, former Wildcat great Steve Kerr is in his 11th season as the head coach of the Golden State Warriors.Â
