Six Wildcats Score in Double Figures of Exhibition Win Against Eastern New Mexico

TUCSON, Ariz. - Led by Trey Townsend's game-high 24 points, the tenth-ranked Arizona men's basketball team defeated Eastern New Mexico in the McKale Center in the first of two exhibition games prior to the regular season.
Arizona jumped out to a 64-26 lead at halftime and continued to push the pace in the second half.
Henri Veesaar, playing in his first game action in nearly a year, scored 19 points on 8 of 9 shooting from the floor, including 2 of 3 from the 3-point line. Tobe Awaka posted a double-double with 14 points and 15 rebounds in 20 minutes of action while Anthony Dell'Orso (11), KJ Lewis (11) and Caleb Love (10) also reached double figures in the scoring column.
As a team, Arizona shot 38 of 60 (63.3%) from the floor and 14 of 26 (53.8%) from behind the 3-point line in the win. ENMU shot just 31.7% overall and 3 of 18 from the 3-point line in the contest.
The Wildcats were also 27 of 35 from the free throw line while ENMU was 11 of 17.
In addition to the fast-paced offense, Arizona forced the Greyhounds into 20 turnovers and converted that into 33 points.
