Right-handed reliever Matthew Martinez posted a scoreless eighth inning with a strikeout.
Center fielder Brandon Rogers, a defensive replacement following an injury for the Wildcats, belted a no-doubt solo home run in the fifth inning to drive in Arizona's only run of the game.
