TUCSON, Ariz. — The Arizona Wildcats (32-19, 19-9) dropped their series opener to the Oregon State Beavers (40-12, 18-9) on a final score of 9-2 on Friday night at Hi Corbett Field.

Brandon Rogers led the offensive effort for the Wildcats, collecting a season-high three hits and scoring once.
