TUCSON, Ariz. — Arizona Baseball, in coordination with Globe Life Field, announced on Monday the program's participation in the 2025 Shriners Children's College Showdown taking place Feb. 14–16.

Arizona will compete in the tournament alongside the Clemson Tigers (ACC), Louisville Cardinals (ACC), Oklahoma State Cowboys (Big 12), Ole Miss Rebels (SEC), and Texas Longhorns (SEC). Four of the teams in the 2025 field, Arizona included, were predicted to be selected for the 2024 NCAA Tournament in the latest D1Baseball Field of 64 Projection.

The Wildcats last played at Globe Life Field to kick off the 2022 campaign, their first under the direction of head coach Chip Hale. Arizona swept the 2022 State Farm College Baseball Showdown with wins over Kansas State (8-6), Oklahoma (14-4), and No. 14 Texas Tech (13-2).

Globe Life Field in Arlington is home of the 2023 World Series champion Texas Rangers, the host venue for the Phillips 66 Big 12 Baseball Championship (May 21-25, 2024), and has hosted more than 100 college baseball games in its history.
