McMillan Selected Walter Camp Preseason First-Team All-American

TUCSON, Ariz. – Arizona wide receiver Tetairoa McMillan named Walter Camp Preseason First-Team Offense All-American today by the organization.
 
McMillan earns another preseason honor after being picked to the All-Big 12 Team, First-Team All-American by Phil Steele, and Athlon Sports. It is the first Walter Camp preseason selection for the junior wide receiver. He was named The Sporting News Second-Team All-American, AP Third-Team All-American, AP Second-Team All-Pac-12, and All-Pac-12 Second Team following the 2023 season.
 
The Walter Camp Football Foundation – a New Haven-based all-volunteer group – was founded in 1967 to perpetuate the ideals of Camp and to continue the tradition of selecting annually an All-America team.
 
Typically announced in early December, the Walter Camp All-America teams are selected by the FBS head coaches and sports information directors.
 

Tetairoa McMillan - Wide Receiver

  • 4th preseason honor: Walter Camp Preseason First Team All-American Offense, All-Big 12 Team, First-Team All-American by Phil Steele Magazine, and Athlon Sports.
  • Second-most receiving yards (1,402) and receptions (90) in program history in 2023.
  • Tied for the 8th-most-career touchdown receptions in program history (18). 
  • 8th most career-receiving yards in program history (2,104).
  • Set freshman record in single-season receiving yards (702) in 2022.

ABOUT THE WALTER CAMP ALL-AMERICAN TEAM
Walter Camp is the nation's oldest college football All-America team. Walter Camp, "The Father of American football," first selected an All-America team in 1889. Camp – a former Yale University athlete and football coach – is also credited with developing play from scrimmage, set plays, the numerical assessment of goals and tries and the restriction of play to eleven men per side. Please also note: the Foundation will be announcing the Players to Watch for the 2024 Walter Camp Player of Year on Monday, August 5 as part of the National College Football Awards Association Watch List rollout.
