Wooten Recognized By Team IMPACT as Administrator of the Year

Arizona Athletics is proud to celebrate and recognize Jasmin Wooten for being selected as this year's Team IMPACT Fellowship Administrator of the Year. The Administrator of the Year is awarded to the athletics administrator who goes above and beyond to support the Fellows on their campus, advocate for Team IMPACT's work within the athletic department, and help bring the Fellows' ideas to life on campus.

In the 2023-2024 school year, Wooten played a major role in continuing to institutionalize the partnership with Team IMPACT and increasing the number of university matches. She also supported Maki Bispham in executing the first-ever Team IMPACT game at the U of A baseball game on March 30.

"I am honored to receive the 2024 Team Impact Administrator of the Year award," Wooten said. "It's been an absolute joy to work alongside Team IMPACT, significantly impacting the lives of local youth and our teams, who gain so much from their experience. Hosting our first Team IMPACT fellow and collaborating with Maki throughout the year to bring her vision to life has been incredibly fulfilling. I am deeply grateful for the support and dedication of the Arizona Athletics community and the families and children who inspire us daily. Creating meaningful experiences that unite our matched families and build a stronger community has been a highlight of the year."

The University of Arizona began its work with Team IMPACT in 2014. In the decade since, 15 children have joined Wildcats rosters through Team IMPACT and there are five current matches on Beach Volleyball, Football, Cheer, Swim and Dive, and Baseball.

"We are grateful to Jasmin Wooten for her dedication to Team IMPACT and are proud to present her with the 2024 Fellowship Administrator of the Year Award," said Joe Daniels, CEO of Team IMPACT. "Under Jasmin's guidance alongside Team IMPACT Fellow Maki Bispham, Arizona welcomed new Team IMPACT teammates to its rosters, hosted awareness games to benefit the program, and provided additional support and opportunities for the matches on campus. Without the commitment to Team IMPACT's mission from admins like Jasmin, our work would not be possible."
