TUCSON, Ariz. – Arizona wide receiver Tetairoa McMillan has been named to the Biletnikoff Award Watch List, as announced today by the Tallahassee Quarterback Club Foundation.
 
McMillan makes the second appearance of his collegiate career on the watch list for the Biletnikoff Award, an award the honors the nation's top receiver regardless of position. He was added to the watch list on Nov. 13, 2023, prior to week 11 last season.
 
The 2024 preseason Biletnikoff Award Watch List selects 49 receivers including two tight ends, one running back, and 47 wide receivers on its first list.
 
McMillan earns another preseason honor adding the Biletnikoff Award Watch List to a growing list of preseason accolades including the Walter Camp Player of the Year Watch List, All-Big 12 Team, First-Team All-American by Phil Steele, and Athlon Sports.
 
He recorded 1,402 receiving yards, marking the second most in a single season in program history. McMillan is the 8th player in program history to surpass 2,000 career receiving yards and his 10 touchdown grabs were the 6th most in a single season in the history of Arizona football.
 
The 2024 watch list includes 41 offensive players (20 quarterbacks, 11 running backs, five receivers/tight ends and two offensive lineman) along with nine from the defensive side of the ball.
 
The semifinalists, finalists, and award recipient are selected by the highly distinguished Biletnikoff Award National Selection Committee, a group of 600 prominent college football journalists, commentators, announcers, Biletnikoff Award winners, and other former receivers. The name Biletnikoff is synonymous with the term receiver. Fred Biletnikoff, a member of the pro and college football halls of fame, was a consensus All-America receiver at Florida State University and an All-Pro receiver for the Oakland Raiders. He caught 589 passes for 8,974 yards and 76 touchdowns in his 14-year Raiders career from 1965 through 1978. Fred was the Most Valuable Player of Super Bowl XI.
 
Arizona opens the 2024 season at 7:30 p.m. MST on Aug. 31 against New Mexico at Arizona Stadium on ESPN.
