The Arizona men's basketball team will host TCU on Dec. 30 in its first-ever Big 12 Conference game as part of the 20-game league schedule announced by the conference office on Thursday.
 
Opponents were selected based on a combination of geography, historical results and a poll of the coaches to best balance the schedule in terms of travel and competitiveness. Teams will begin Conference play Monday, Dec. 30 and finish the regular season Saturday, March 8. The Phillips 66 Big 12 Men's Basketball Championship will be conducted Tuesday-Saturday, March 11-15 at T-Mobile Center in Kansas City, Missouri.

Following the home game against TCU, Arizona will hit the road for games at Cincinnati (Jan. 4) and West Virginia (Jan. 7) before returning home to host Central Florida on Jan. 11 and Baylor on Jan. 14.
 
Another two-game road trip follows, with games at Texas Tech on Jan. 18 and Oklahoma State on Jan. 21, before a two-game homestand with Colorado (Jan. 25) and Iowa State on Monday, Jan. 27.
 
The month of February begins with road games at Arizona State (Feb. 1) and BYU (Feb. 4) followed by a matchup in the McKale Center against Texas Tech on Feb. 8. It's back on the road for a trip to Kansas State on Feb. 11 before the Wildcats host Houston on Feb. 15.
 
After a stop in Waco to take on Baylor on Feb. 17, Arizona returns to Tucson to hose BYU on Feb. 22 and Utah on Feb. 26.
 
As the regular season winds down, Arizona will travel to Iowa State on March 1 and then host Arizona State for Senior Day on March 4 before closing out the regular season at Kansas on March 8.
