TUCSON, Ariz. — Arizona Baseball today unveiled their three-game fall exhibition schedule, all of which will be played in Tucson this month.
The Wildcats will open their fall slate with their fifth straight appearance at the Mexican Baseball Fiesta hosted at Kino Veterans Memorial Stadium. Arizona will help open the event on Thursday, Oct. 2 with a matchup against the Naranjeros de Hermosillo, an international professional baseball team from the Mexican Pacific League. The Wildcats and Naranjeros will face off in the second game of a doubleheader; game one of the doubleheader is scheduled for 5:05 p.m. MST with the Arizona/Hermosillo game set to follow the conclusion of game one.
Tickets for the Mexican Baseball Fiesta are available for purchase atÂ
MexicanBaseballFiesta.com. The Wildcats previously participated in five fiestas; Arizona played Hermosillo in 2018, 2022, 2023, and 2024 and matched up against Yaquis de Obregon in 2021.
The Wildcats will also host a pair of contests at Hi Corbett Field this month, welcoming Pima Community College on Friday, Oct. 17 and Central Arizona College on Saturday, Oct. 25. Both games are set to begin at 3:00 p.m. MST. Admission and ticketing details will be available at a later date.
Arizona is fresh off their 19th trip to the College World Series and their second consecutive conference championship. Head Coach
Chip Hale and the Wildcats return the majority of their pitching staff from that team and look to build on their momentum with a strong fall schedule.
