The Wildcats, who are coming off their 19th Men's College World Series appearance, have once again lined up a challenging schedule in 2026. Arizona's schedule features 25 games against 11 teams that were selected for the 2025 NCAA Tournament, including seven matchups before Big 12 Conference play begins in mid March.
Arizona will kick off their 2026 campaign on Feb. 13 at their first of two early season tournaments, the 2026 College Baseball Series at Surprise Stadium where they will face Stanford, Oregon State, and Michigan. Surprise Stadium will also serve as the location for the 2026 Big 12 Baseball Championship in May, giving the Wildcats an early look at a postseason competition site.
The Wildcats will then return to Tucson for their 2026 home opener, a midweek test against Nebraska Omaha on Tuesday, Feb. 17 at Hi Corbett Field. Arizona's opening homestand will continue that weekend with a four-game series against UConn running Friday, Feb. 20–Monday, Feb. 23.
After their first set of home dates, the Wildcats will return to the road for the 2026 Las Vegas Classic at Las Vegas Ballpark running Feb. 27–March 1. There, Arizona will square off against Oregon, Vanderbilt, and UC Irvine, three teams that qualified for the 2025 NCAA Tournament.
Following the tournament in Las Vegas, Arizona will wrap up it's early season non-conference slate with a home midweek game against Grand Canyon on Tuesday, March 3, a three-game home series against Fresno State March 6–8, and a road midweek at Arizona State on March 10.
The Wildcats will open Big 12 Conference play in week five with a road trip to face Utah in Salt Lake City March 13–15. Arizona will also visit UCF (March 27–29), TCU (April 10–12), Kansas (May 1–3), and Oklahoma State (May 14–16) during Big 12 play.
Arizona's first Big 12 home series comes against Texas Tech in Tucson March 20–22; the Wildcats will also host Arizona State (April 2–4), Kansas State (April 17–19), BYU (April 23–25), and Houston (May 8–10) at Hi Corbett field in 2026.
Mixed in between the Wildcats Big 12 series will be a handful of home non-conference midweeks against New Mexico (March 17), Grand Canyon (March 24), West Virginia (March 31), and New Mexico State (April 8 & May 6). Those will be complemented by a pair of road non-conference midweek games against Arizona State (April 13) and Grand Canyon (April 28).
Following the conclusion of the regular season the Wildcats will look to defend their crown at the Big 12 Baseball Championship presented by Allstate in May at Surprise Stadium in Surprise, Arizona. Exact dates and tournament format will be announced at a later date; the winner of the Big 12 Baseball Championship will earn the conference's automatic bid to the NCAA Tournament. The full field for the 2026 NCAA Tournament will be announced on Selection Monday, May 25.
The 2026 NCAA Tournament will begin with Regionals May 29–June 1, continue on to Super Regionals June 5–8, and conclude at the Men's College World Series in Omaha, Nebraska June 12–22.
