Arizona Football Lands at No. 25 in CFP Top 25

TUCSON, Ariz. — Arizona Football has checked in at No. 25 in the recently released College Football Playoff Rankings that were announced on Tuesday evening.

The No. 25 Wildcats and No. 20 Arizona State Sun Devils will face off in the 99th Territorial Cup this Friday, Nov. 28 at 7:00 p.m. MST. Friday's game will be the first time that the two in-state rivals will meet while both ranked since the 2014 Territorial Cup that pitted No. 11 Arizona against No. 13 Arizona State.

Arizona's ranking is their first appearance in the CFP Top 25 since the end of the 2023 season, in which they closed out the campaign ranked No. 14 ahead of their victory in the Valero Alamo Bowl. Tuesday's selection marks the Wildcats 14th appearance in the CFP Rankings.

The Wildcats, led by Head Coach Brent Brennan, currently sit at 8-3 overall with a 5-3 mark in Big 12 Conference play following a dominant victory over Baylor last weekend. They have doubled their win total from last year and secured bowl eligibility with one game remaining in the regular season.

Saturday's game will be nationally televised on FOX.
