TUCSON, Ariz. – Arizona swept West Virginia on Wednesday night in McKale Center. The Cats won 25-16, 25-22, 25-12 to improve to 15-12 (9-8 Big 12) this season.

The Wildcats totaled eight blocks to hold the Mountaineers to a .037 hitting percentage. The offense was led by
Jordan Wilson with 13 kills and a .345 clip.
Ana Heath followed with seven kills and hit .875.
Adrianna Bridges led the defense with six blocks and three Cats had two blocks each.Â
Arizona took the first set, 25-16. The Cats served three aces and out-hit the Mountaineers in the set. Wilson led the team with six kills and a .308 hitting percentage. Bridges, Cisneros, and Jones added two kills each for Arizona. Bridges also had three blocks to lead the defense that held West Virginia to a .061 clip in the set.

The Wildcats won the second set, 25-22, to take a 2-0 lead in the match. Arizona had to come from behind and used a 3-0 run to close out the set. Heath and Wilson tallied four kills each to lead Arizona's attack. Bridges recorded a pair of blocks to help the defense and
Avery Scoggins served an ace to lead Arizona to the set victory. Â

Arizona won the third set, 25-12, to secure the sweep. The Wildcats dominated the set with a .467 hitting percentage and three blocks to hold West Virginia to a -.065 clip. Wilson tallied five kills and hit .625 while Heath and
Journey Tucker recorded three kills each. Tucker also had two blocks to help Arizona sweep the Mountaineers.
