12/12/2025 | C.A.T.S. Academics
Athlete: Montaya Dew
Year: Junior
Sport: Women's Basketball
Hometown: Las Vegas, NV
"Montaya is the only returning member of the women's basketball team after the coaching transition last year. Her perseverance and dedication to this team is remarkable as she started her career at Arizona as an early high school graduate and enrolled in Spring 2023. She did not complete her freshman year after suffering a season ending injury before the season began and then suffered another injury during her sophomore year. She is quiet and reserved and is majoring in Criminal Justice."
Athlete: Alexander "Sasha" Rozin
Year: Junior
Sport: Men's Tennis
Hometown: Toronto, Canada
"Sasha is dedicated both in the classroom and on the court. He has a strong work ethic and has great character. He was recognized as an ITA Scholar Athlete during his sophomore season and is majoring in our very competitive Eller Finance program. It can be very challenging to balance both the rigorous Eller course load while competing at the highest level in a very demanding Tennis schedule and Sasha has exceled at both."
Athlete: Marissa Arnst
Year: Junior
Sport: Soccer
Hometown: Union City, California
"Marissa is the kind of student-athlete whose excellence seems effortless, but only because she works tirelessly behind the scenes to make it that way. Her commitment, discipline, and consistency set her apart. Marissa brings focus, heart, and determination to everything she does and it is reflected in her success in the classroom and on the field."
Athlete: Abigayle Martin
Year: Junior
Sport: Gymnastics
Hometown: Bacliff, Texas
"Abby is one of the most driven student athletes that I have the privilege of working with. She exemplifies what it means to balance academic dedication with athletic excellence. Known for her relentless work ethic, Abby approaches every practice, class, and competition with unwavering focus. There is no doubt that Abby will find success in whatever she decides to do after college."
