Loop, McMillan, and Savaiinaea Invited to NFL Combine

TUCSON, Ariz. -- Arizona Football standouts Tyler Loop, Tetairoa McMillan, and Jonah Savaiinaea have been invited to the 2025 NFL Scouting Combine, as announced today by the National Football League. 

The NFL released the list of players invited to the 2025 NFL Scouting Combine on Thursday. A total of 329 players have been invited to attend this year's event, which will take place in Indianapolis from February 24 through March 3. Arizona kicker Tyler Loop, wide receiver Tetairoa McMillan, and offensive lineman Jonah Savaiinaea were among those invited to the showcase of top college football talent.

Loop finished his Arizona career with the highest field goal percentage in program history (83.75%, 67-of-80) and made a single-game program record five field goals against Texas Tech in 2024. He finished tied for third in team history in extra-points made percentage (126-for-128, 98.4%). Made the game-winner against Colorado during the 2023 season and was one of the most consistent kickers in program history. 

McMillan finished his Arizona career with a flurry of honors for his outstanding play in 2024. He was named a finalist for the Biletnikoff Award, won the Polynesian College Football Player of the Year honor, and earned First-Team All-American from the AP, AFCA, CBS/247Sports, and Pro Football Focus. McMillan was named Second-Team All-American by the FWAA, Sporting News, and Walter Camp Award. He completed his career with the most receiving yards in program history (3,423), third in program history with 26 touchdowns, and fourth in receptions (213). McMillan led all power-four receivers with 1,319 yards and finished ninth nationally in receptions (84) in 2024. 

Savaiinaea was a mainstay on the offensive line during his three seasons with the Wildcats, starting 36 games over three seasons. He led the team in offensive blocking grade (75.9 per PFF), allowing four sacks over 738 total snaps during the 2024 season. Savaiinaea earned All-Big 12 Honorable Mention following the 2024 season. In 2023, he earned All-Pac-12 Honorable Mention. He was named to the Polynesian College Football Player of the Year watch list before the 2023 and 2024 seasons, as well as the Outland Trophy watch list (2023) and the Lombardi Award watch list (2024) each of his last two seasons with Arizona. Before the 2024 season, Savaiinaea was placed on the Reese's Senior Bowl watch list and made a dominant appearance last month. 

The Wildcats had three former players selected (Jordan Morgan, Jacob Cowing, and Tanner McLachlan) in the 2024 NFL Draft matching the most selected in one draft since 2014 when Ka'Deem Carey (4th, 117 overall), Shaquille Richardson (5th, 157 overall), and Marquis Flowers (6th, 212 overall) were selected. 

Arizona gets the 2025 season underway against Hawai'i on Aug. 30 at Arizona Stadium.
