TUCSON, Ariz. - The Arizona football program was back on Tomey Practice Fields during Day 7 of spring camp. 

The Wildcats flew to the ball, emphasizing speed, technique, and communication as we approach the halfway point of spring camp. With the Spring Showcase rapidly approaching, Arizona continues its growth and development as a football team during practice. 

Coach Cecil gave a passionate post-practice team talk about making every single day count and not taking anything for granted. 

Coach Brett Arce, Jshawn Frausto-Ramos, and Jack Luttrell spoke with the media after practice.

When asked about the impact Coach Akina had on Coach Arce... "To be coached is to be loved, he coaches those guys hard. To bring the juice and the energy every day, that has carried over with me. Honestly, he's (Coach Akina) a phenomenal teacher, the way he teaches the game, where your eyes should be, where the communication is, so that has all carried over to our scheme now. There are some differences but taking those base fundamentals has all carried over." - Coach Arce.
