Tetairoa McMillan Selected 8th Overall by Carolina in 2025 NFL Draft

GREEN BAY, Wisc. – Former Arizona wide receiver Tetairoa McMillan has been selected in the first round (8th overall) by the Carolina Panthers in the 2025 NFL Draft.

McMillan becomes the 12th Wildcat to be selected in the first round in program history, joining former teammate Jordan Morgan (25th overall, Green Bay) as an Arizona player to be selected in the first round of the NFL Draft in back-to-back seasons. T-Mac is the highest selected offensive player in the NFL Draft in Arizona football history.

McMillan ties for the second-highest player selected in the NFL Draft in program history with Chris Singleton (8th pick, New England, 1990). He falls one spot shy of tying Ricky Hunley for the highest drafted Wildcat in program history (7th overall, Cincinnati, 1984).

It marks the first time since 1999 and 2000 that the Wildcats have had players selected in the first round in consecutive years (2024 Morgan, 2025 McMillan).

McMillan finished his Arizona career with a flurry of honors for his outstanding play in 2024. He was named a finalist for the Biletnikoff Award, won the Polynesian College Football Player of the Year honor, and earned First-Team All-American from the AP, AFCA, CBS/247Sports, and Pro Football Focus.

McMillan was named Second-Team All-American by the FWAA, Sporting News, and Walter Camp Award. He completed his career with the most receiving yards in program history (3,423), third with 26 touchdowns, and fourth in receptions (213).

McMillan led all Power-Four receivers with 1,319 yards and finished ninth nationally in receptions (84) in 2024.
