PHOENIX – The Naismith Basketball Hall of Fame and Position Sports have announced that the 2025 Hall of Fame Series Las Vegas event will feature the Arizona men's basketball team taking on current national champion Florida in the season opener for both teams.
The game will take place at T-Mobile Arena on Monday, Nov. 3 and will be televised on TNT. The one-night event will also feature BYU against Villanova. Start times will be announced at a later date.

"Opening the season in the Hall of Fame Series against a team like Florida in Las Vegas is a tremendous opportunity for our program and our fans," Arizona head coach
Tommy Lloyd said. "I know T-Mobile Arena will be rocking that night, and we look forward to competing against one of the best teams in the country on opening night."
Arizona is 2-2 all-time against the Gators, with the Wildcats winning the most recent meeting on Dec. 15, 2012, in Tucson by a score of 65-64. Arizona also defeated Florida in the first-ever meeting, a 75-71 win in New York on Nov. 9, 2001. Florida was able to come away with a 78-77 win in Springfield, Mass., on Nov. 28, 2003, and a 78-72 overtime win in Gainesville on Dec. 7, 2011.
Other non-conference games for Arizona during the 2025-26 season include a Nov. 19 matchup with UConn in Connecticut and a Dec. 6 meeting against Auburn in Tucson. The Wildcats have the No. 2 recruiting class in the country headed to campus in the Fall along with the expected return of
