TUCSON, Ariz. – Arizona Volleyball has received the AVCA Team Academic Award, announced by the AVCA on Monday morning. Teams that maintain a year-long GPA of at least 3.30 on a 4.00 scale are eligible to earn the award.
 
This marks the second time that Arizona has won the AVCA Team Academic Award and the first time under Coach Stubbs. The Wildcats maintained a 3.458 GPA during the 2024-25 academic year.
 
Overall, 1,450 college and high school volleyball teams were awarded the AVCA Team Academic Award this year.
 
Arizona will kick off the 2025 season with the Wildcat Classic August 29-31 in McKale Center.
